Congratulations to Coventry Bears who defeated Bristol Sonics at the Old Coventrians ground in Tile Hill last weekend in a very competitive game. The match went into extra time sudden death and Coventry scored the winning try to become Midlands Premier League Champions. Well done to the Coventry Bears ladies team who also won their final in Derby, so 2 trophies in one day for one of our Coventry sports clubs, fantastic news. The Blaze will be playing the Tilburg Trappers champions of Holland on Sunday face off at 6pm, and then on Wednesday Blaze will take on nasty Cardiff Devils with a face off time of 7.30pm. You can expect fireworks on the ice in what will be a bruising game with the belligerent Welsh team. Their big bully Brad Voth will have someone his own size to pick on for a change with our new defender Canadian Jeff Smith standing 6’6”. Don’t worry it’s not all about pugilism there is always great skill, great skating and a real pantomime atmosphere and ice hockey is a great family occasion to hire a limo. Finally fantastic news from Coventry Airport this week with the announcement that the airport is open for business and operational again following its acquisition by Sir Peter Rigby’s Patriot Aerospace, earlier this year
The statement means basically a new era for the Airport, which is committed to job creation and income generation in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. The foresight of Patriot Aerospace is an exciting commercial regional core for general aviation, offering a range of aviation services – including leisure, business and freight, with the return of passenger flights cited amongst the possibilities for future developments. It was only when the airport closed that the Coventry people realised how convenient it was to just hire a limo for up to 16 passengers to jet off around Europe rather than travel to Birmingham Airport, Gatwick airport, Heathrow airport and Manchester Airport . Enjoy your weekend from Coventry Limo, part of American Limousine Company Coventry.
