Arctic Weather conditions to hit the UK

Icy roads are expected to cause problems initially but Sky News weather presenter Isobel Lang has warned there could be up to 20cm (8in) of snow. Julian Mayes from MeteoGroup said: “Night-time temperatures will fall to -5C in southern England and -10C in Scotland. Quite a few places may be starting below -10C.
