Going Green……
Limo hire Coventry are looking for a few good reasons to go green, by adding a little green to our daily routine we can help the environment and take a little responsibility.
Limo hire is committed to reducing its own carbon footprint, and we are keen to find ways that help our customers to do this too,and of course because EVERY LITTLE HELPS
Limousine hire turns off PCs at the end of each day, printing as infrequently as possible, using double-sided copies when acceptable, this is just a few of the ways we adapted to become more eco friendly conducting green office procedures such as converting paper documents over to digital formats and reducing paper usage by more than 65%,
More importantly to save on carbon footprint, we have several depots/franchise/partners around the Midlands area such as Nuneaton, Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Rugby Leicester and so on. These depots enables American Limousine Company to to reduce the carbon footprint by leaving a vehicle in the closest depot for the next job requireing a limo or hummer
Sometimes people are amazed that we travel cross country. Our goal is to get you to your destination in comfort, safely, on time, with a reduced carbon footprint. How far you need to go is irrelevant; as long as you’re Going Green we’ll take you there.

How Will The 2011 Budget Affect The Limo Hire Industry.

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

Here at Coventry limo we are anxiously waiting the out come of the 2011 Budget to see how it is going to effect the limo hire industry, after all fuel duty has a massive impact on small  business’s and hitting them hard, limo hire is more costly and peole do not have the money to spend. Families are finding it tough, but youngsters still have school proms, birthdays, and want to celebrate the traditional way by hiring a limo or a hummer.

Limo hire brings large groups of  party-goers out to the big City’s such as Birmingham,  Coventry and London, which in effect keeps the City’s buzzing and people spending.

Petrol prices have soared to an all time high making, The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)  call on the government to reverse the planned 1p rise in fuel duty in the Budget  and is urging it to introduce a fuel duty stabiliser.

Coventry limo has not increased their limo hire this year so far, lets hope the 2011 budget lets it stay that way with fuel duty!

Twitter And Facebook Is The Way Forward with Snow On The Way Again

Saturday, January 8th, 2011

The UK has been covered with snow and ice on and off for weeks now, with more snow expected to fall this week, with the help of twitterers  tweeting and Facebook  members throughout the midlands and the UK being able create an instant snow map. With twitter there is an instant update the same as Facebook, the postcode they currently see snow and the amount of snow determined as 0/10 for nothing, 5/10 for steady snow and 10/10 for arctic blizzard conditions. Here at limo hire Coventry we are friends on Facebook with the weather girl Emma Jesson from ITV Central News, she tweets on a regular basis, about every 2 minutes, keeping us up to date with the weather conditions all over the UK, hundreds and hundreds of people will tweet as soon as it starts snowing in their area. This is one major geographic collaborative event the UK has a reason to twitter for.   Users can either take a photo on their web enabled phone and attach the image onto the snow map.

As always take care whilst driving in snow and icy conditions, whether you drive a small car, a jeep, a Monster Hummer or a limo, it is treacherous conditions out there, remember not all roads have been covered with grit, the gritters just can’t  cover every inch of the UK’s roads.

Here at limo hire Coventry we are very prepared for the snow and only employ expert chauffeurs to ensure you reach your celebration safely.
