Dressed in a bright red winter coat and matching hat and scarf the Queen was greeted by a small crowd when she attended church in a small Norfolk village today. The Monarch went to St Peter’s Church at Wolferton, on the edge of her Norfolk estate, with the Duke of Edinburgh. The service led by the Rt Revd Robert Paterson , Bishop of Sodor and Man , she took gifts of flowers from the dozen or so children who were waiting patiently outside to catch a glimpse.
Around 50 people turned out in slightly milder weather to see the Royals. Many were taking pictures as the Queen and Duke left church, before they were driven away in the Royal stretch limousine, with convoy of protection officers
