My daughter is 13 and is in Girl Guides now, it seems an absolute age ago when she first started with the brownies when she was seven but this was my first real experience of going to church, I was invited to the church parade, I didn’t know what to expect but I left that place that day on a new journey… I was not brought up in a religious environment, in fact quite the opposite and as the years go by I am still making my mind up as I grow in new discoveries… this brings me to when
I visited Coventry with my daughter and friend to have a look round, a sort of day trip if you like, and we visited the Coventry Cathedral and to say this was an extraordinary experience would be an understatement! It certainly enriched my beliefs which cannot be a bad thing surely; it really is worth a visit, it is a beautiful building in its own right, rich with history and such a welcoming feel.
I am sure you already know the story, but in a nut shell it is nothing short of a miracle that this building was left standing when everything around it fell to the ground and was destroyed. Why don’t you visit the Coventry Cathedral yourself they have got some events on their calendar with Christmas around the corner, such as…
