Bedworth Leisure Centre
Set in the Miners Welfare Park, Bedworth Leisure Centre offers a 25-metre main & learner pool, an 81-metre flume, a brand new ladies only gym, a newly extended fitness studio with over 40 stations, dance studio, creche, and café facilities. It also has outdoor facilities including a floodlit 3G ‘Hat Tricks’ Football Pitch, a skate/BMX park with 7 pieces of equipment, tennis courts and pitch & putt facilities.
Parsonage Heritage Centre
The Parsonage is part of the magnificent grade II listed Nicholas Chamberlaine Almshouses which were built in 1840. The Parsonage Heritage Centre is situated in the cellar of what was the town’s Parsonagein in All Saints Square, Bedworth . It opened in February 2000 and attracts around 4,500 visitors each year from all parts of the UK and around the World. The Centre features a permanent display about Nicholas Chamberlaine and his influence on Bedworth. Three temporary exhibitions per year devoted to various aspects of Bedworth’s past. Sales area – Local books/Postcards/Souvenirs and information.
Astley Book Farm,
Astley Book Farm is the biggest second-hand bookshop in the Midlands. Boasting a stock of over 75,000 used, rare and out of print books. There’s a Children’s Hayloft, Science Fiction and Fantasy Barn, all housed in a range of old farm buildings.
The farm is situated on the Arbury Estate, which was the birth place of the Victorian novelist George Eliot, 2 miles outside the North Warwickshire town of Bedworth, 8 miles from Coventry
Civic Hall in Bedworth
The auditorium is multi-purpose with 763 seats in its theatre setting and over 400 capacity in a flat floor arrangement. Our huge sprung dance floor is one of the largest in the Midlands and is ideal for ballroom to northern soul dancing. Shows vary from rock bands to ballet and our annual pantomime is always a popular event. The Civic Hall has become established on the touring circuit of most promoters throughout the UK, bringing “star” names to the venue. The venue also has excellent conference and meeting facilities.
